Parallel Worlds

We are more and more disconnecting ourselves from Nature and we have reached the point where we humans tend to feel superior to any other specie, animal or vegetal. Even with the advanced technology of today, there are certain things we are not able to control, such as global climate.

We are reaching a crossroad where decisions must be made for a bright future in harmony with the planet. The contrary would be nefast for any specie on Earth, including ours.

In this series, I have travelled the world searching for couples of landscapes, each one of them from a different place, which are very similar in composition giving the impression of parallel worlds. I have captured them under a wider spectrum of light than what the human eye can see, making one world bright and the other rather dark - symbolizing the two scenarios human could have to face in the future and alerting on the urgency to take radical measures on a global scale.
